Olympiad Biology & Chemistry

This is an opportunity to dive deeper into the world of living organisms and understand how it works at the molecular level. In this course, we’ve combined two subjects — biology and chemistry — to show how closely related they are and how they help us better understand nature.

About the Course
In biology classes, students will learn how cells are structured, study the basics of genetics, and the chemistry of life. They will develop skills in working with biological data, solving problems, and analyzing information. The program will help organize their knowledge, enhance logical and scientific thinking, and prepare them for future academic challenges.

Chemistry classes will introduce students to the fascinating world of substances. They will learn how atoms and molecules interact, and what processes underlie everyday phenomena — from cooking to chemical reactions in the body. Hands-on experiments and research will help students not only understand chemistry but also see it in real life.

This course will help students:
  • Get prepared for biology and chemistry Olympiads, giving them the opportunity to compete at a high level and achieve success in contests.
  • Learn to analyze data and see connections between processes in nature.
  • Develop logical thinking and prepare for the next stages of learning.
  • Apply knowledge in practice, which will allow for a better understanding of the world around them.
  • Gain confidence in studying complex sciences at school with the support of experienced teachers.
  • Schedule

    Tuesday (Biology):
    17:00-18:30

    Friday (Chemistry):
    19:00-20:30

Biology classes are taught by Alina Fetisova, an NSU graduate, geneticist, and cytologist with experience in scientific institutions, as well as the winner of the All-Siberian Biology Olympiad.

Chemistry classes are led by Nikita Solovyov, a specialist with many years of experience in research laboratories and teaching.

Theatre Studio for Adults –
“Tiny World Theatre”

Our approach follows the techniques of Stanislavsky and Michael Chekhov, focusing on self-reflection and the art of self-expression.

Last year, the “Little World Theatre” studio staged performances based on fragments from the timeless tragedies and comedies of William Shakespeare. We collaborated with students from our school in several productions and have already begun preparing for new performances.

If you would like to become part of our community and join our theatre studio, don’t hesitate to sign up and come to our classes.

We welcome everyone, even if your children do not study at our school or if you don’t have children yet. We are always happy to see new participants who are eager to grow and discover new opportunities.
